collaborating with the Micah
Initiative, Virginia
Mentoring Partnership, and Family Lifeline/CIS to
recruit and train mentors from District congregations
and match them with children in Richmond public
elementary schools.

- Ramsey Memorial UMC’s tutoring program at Reid and
Francis Elementary schools
- Trinity UMC’s tutoring program at Oakgrove- Bellemeade
Elementary school
- Wesley Memorial UMC’s tutoring program at Overby
Shepherd Elementary school
- Asbury UMC’s tutoring program at Chimborazo Elementary
- Westover Hills UMC’s tutoring program at Westover
Hills Elementary school
- Sherbroune UMC’s after school program at Bensley
